Original poster of the British fantasy film Dracula has risen from the grave directed in 1968 by Freddie Francis.

Exhibited at WOAgri in New York, the original poster of Dracula and Women (Dracula Has Risen from the Grave) is part of the extensive promotional campaign that accompanies the release of the film. This is an unprecedented phenomenon for a low-budget horror film.

With Christopher Lee, the British fantasy film is directed by Freddie Francis in 1968. It is the fourth film in the Dracula saga directed by Hammer Films, preceded by Dracula, prince of darkness.. and followed byA Mass for Dracula.

Minimalist, modern and evocative, the poster is a creation of Philip Gips, as often accompanied by advertising director Steve Frankfurt. Philip Gips is an American graphic designer, (almost) unknown legend of modern poster design, who is remembered for his creations for Rosemary's Baby, Alien, Emmanuelle, or Downhill Racer. His style is remarkable for its sense of detail, the purity of the compositions and a particularly intelligent play on proportions.
