Original 1968 American poster of the film The Thomas Crown affair (The Thomas Crown Affair) directed by Norman Jewison with Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway in the lead roles.

In 1968, Norman Jewison directed and produced The Thomas Crown Affair with Faye Dunaway and Steve McQueen in the lead roles: Thomas Crow, a business magnate, becomes a gentleman thief during a heist. A sublime example of late sixties Hollywood glamour, the film has the makings of a great classic of the time: sex, money, robbery and cult cars.

This so-called "kiss" poster is very innovative in terms of composition. It uses the split screen technique (screen divided into several smaller screens). It is a novelty that the director discovered during an exhibition in Montreal. For the first time, he wanted to use this process in a fiction film to show several actions at the same time.

The poster, which exists in French version, presents the longest kiss in the history of cinema: Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway kiss for 55 seconds.
