The artist, a great traveller from the Le Havre region, was soon noticed by magazines such as LIFE and L'Illustration, of which he became a regular contributor. He works as a poster artist for numerous maritime and airline companies, the SNCF (French National Railway Company) and the Paris City Council. He was appointed official painter of the Navy in 1936 and will notably realize the launch and inaugural crossing posters french in 1961.
