Original poster of the airline Trans World Airlines (Fly TWA Jet) to promote flights to Paris, designed by David Klein in the 1960s.

Between 1955 and 1965, David Klein produced numerous advertising campaigns for the American airline Trans World Airlines, more commonly known as TWA. Many of these were award-winning, and are considered emblematic of the "Jet Age" which marked an important transition in aeronautics.

His work for TWA brought him great artistic recognition and in 1957, the Museum of Modern Art in New York added his Times Square poster to its permanent collection.

This poster promoting flights to Paris is characteristic of its striking graphic style. It depicts colourful fireworks lighting up the Eiffel Tower in the dark night, with a plane flying through the sky.

This intense chromatic range on a black background is also found on the mythical TWA New York poster.
