This 1967 poster was designed by Bernard Villemot for the Air France Paris campaign.

To promote tourism in Paris, the airline Air France had this poster executed by Bernard Villemot in 1967.

Seen from the sky, the French capital dazzles with its lights shining in the night. The Seine flows in the middle of the picture and structures the scene that shows us the most emblematic Parisian monuments: the Eiffel Tower of course, but also Notre-Dame, the Grand Palais, or the Arc de Triomphe and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart that are emerging on the horizon.

Very romantic, this poster stands out from the rest of the work of Paul Colin's pupil, which is usually characterized by a refined drawing favouring immediate reading.
